Well, I finally did it. I have joined the blogging club. I guess the my first post will be about Ashlynn's 6th Birthday. She had never really had a party before, so I decided that it was her turn to have one. She chose to have a High School Musical theme. It was not surprising that she chose this, since she absolutely loves to sing. I had fun with the theme also. I think I have a daughter after my own heart. :) I made a stage by hanging up a black sheet and putting flashing, multi-colored lights around it and sticking cut-outs of stars and music notes on it. It turned out pretty cute. The kids had a blast dressing up and singing with Ashlynn's new karaoke machine. We played a couple of games, had cake and ice cream and then Ashlynn opened her presents. She of course got spoiled as usual! She received a lot of really fun stuff. I think she was pleased with how the day went. Ashlynn is growing up so fast, and has become a real help to me. She follows me around and watches every move that I make. Sometimes that can be annoying, but over all I take it as a great compliment when she says, "I want to be just like you, mommy."
