Welcome Mr. President

Josh, Halston, Dillon

On Tuesday, Dillon had to give a report Woodrow Wilson, the 28th president of the United States. Mr. Earley set up a pulpit in the multi-purpose room, and invited all of the parents to attend. The kids made president bags, and were asked to bring 5 things to put in them that were symbolic of their president. They stood at the pulpit and told some historical and personal facts about the president, along with explaining their 5 items. They ended their reports by reciting 2 or 3 quotes that they had memorized. Dillon did an awesome job and got 30 points out of 30. I think it is so cool that Mr. Earley is teaching the kids public speaking skills so early on, it will be so helpful to them.
